HEALITE II LED LIGHT THERAPY
Low-level light therapy (LLLT) with Healite II is the therapeutic use of light emitting diode (LED) light to enhance body’s natural cellular recovery, improving healing, relieving pain, subsiding active acne and promoting skin rejuvenation.
It is an effective, pain-free and non-invasive treatment which delivers concentrated energy deep into the tissue, affecting the body at a cellular level.
It can be used for a wide range of skin concerns for patients of all ages and skin types.
It is available as a stand-alone treatment or an add-on treatment to enhance the recovery and minimise bruising of nearly any procedure.
Our doctor will have a face-to-face consultation with you where you can discuss your concerns or questions about Healite II LED light therapy.
While Healite II LED light therapy may not require any skin prep or full skin assessment, patient may be recommended to follow skin prep advice (which may take 2-4 weeks) by our cosmetic doctor prior to treatment, depending on skin type and condition.
Patient’s skin will be cleansed prior to Healite II light therapy to ensure the skin is clean and make-up free.
Different colours or wavelength will be selected by our cosmetic doctor to address your specific skin concern or to accelerate healing after cosmetic injectable or skin treatment(s).
Healite II LED lights are placed over the skin with no skin contact. Eye goggles may be worn during treatment.
No downtime and pain-free. Treatment takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
You will notice skin appears to be more rejuvenated and glowing immediately after treatment.
Treatment is not be suitable if you are:
- Taking photosensitising medications.
- Taking products that can cause photosensitivity.
- Have active herpes outbreak.

- Avoid prolonged sun exposure, always seek shade and use a combination of sun protection measures (e.g. SPF 50+ sunscreen, hats, umbrellas). Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours.
